Riyadh Air, Saudi Arabia’s new world-class airline and Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), which manages and operates Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), have signed a significant memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on enhancing services and facilities, supporting the Kingdom’s National Aviation Strategy. This partnership aims to provide world-class experiences to guests by leveraging cutting-edge technologies, prioritizing customer service, implementing enhanced safety and security measures and promoting sustainability initiatives.
The partnership will focus on promoting technology and innovation in airport management, enhancing the passenger experience and delivering excellent services. It will also include joint projects to improve infrastructure and technologies, enhance flight safety and security, and increase environmental awareness and sustainability efforts.
Additionally, both parties will collaborate to transform airport operations at KKIA using innovative strategies to optimize aircraft, passenger, and baggage handling efficiency. By aligning strategic directions and terminal allocation plans, the partnership aims to improve operational performance, enhance the customer experience, and optimize commercial and network operations.
Riyadh Air and Riyadh Airports Company will also explore joint training programs, shared research and development initiatives and coordinated efforts toward sustainability and environmental responsibility.

The MoU signing marks another milestone for Riyadh Air, following recent partnerships with the Saudi Tourism Authority and Al Ula, as it continues to build towards its maiden flight in mid-2025.
